A lake with a road round it and not much else

Mabprachan is the largest body of water in East Pattaya and the quiet middle of it. A sixteen-kilometre loop runs the whole way round, with restaurants and bars along one shore and villages, lake-view villas and a lot of open ground behind them.

People are here for the space. Fishing in the morning, a ride round the water at sunset, a house with a garden instead of a unit on the eighteenth floor. What comes with that is distance from everything, and a trip into town costs most of an evening.

Nothing out here is close

The alternative is a drive each way and shop pricing at the end of it. Our everyday flower opens at ฿25 a gram and the top of the menu still lands under what that trip would have cost you once fuel and an hour are counted in.

Sealed and cool until it leaves

It stays in humidity- and temperature-controlled storage until the moment it leaves on a bike. In a climate like this one, that is what separates something still smelling of itself from something that has gone flat.

You check before anything is paid

The rider waits while you open it. Right, and you pay him. Wrong, and it leaves with him and you owe nothing. Only possible because he works for us and not for a courier company.

The far shore is not a problem

The whole loop is on the round, not just the restaurant side. On the quiet stretch with more field than building around you, we still come. Right at the far end we may ask you to reach a higher minimum first, and you hear that from us before anything goes out.

Questions we get from the lake

How long will I be waiting?

Usually 30 to 60 minutes — the one window we work to across the whole city. An estimate rather than a promise: traffic and heavy rain shift it. Right round on the far side of the loop it can run a bit longer than that, and we say so when you order rather than afterwards. You will have a realistic time before you confirm, and a message if it moves.

Do you go right round, or only the restaurant side?

Right round. Both shores, the villages behind them and the estates off the motorway side are all on the run. Two things can apply once you are far enough round: it may take a bit longer than an address on the near side, and on the furthest ones we get in touch and ask you to reach a higher minimum than the usual ฿350 before anything goes out. You hear about either of those before you confirm, never at the gate.

How do I give you my address?

Checkout has an address field, like any online order. Over chat, the name of your moobaan or the nearest landmark on the ring road does the job. A map pin helps if your turning is an easy one to miss, but it has never been required. Anything we cannot place, we ask about before the rider leaves.

He will be at the gate. What do I need to have ready?

Two things. The money, if you are paying cash — baht at the gate is what most people here do, and it is the only method that lets you open the bag and check it before anything is handed over. Nothing is paid up front unless you want it to be: PayPal, BTC or USDT, Wise and Thai bank transfer are all there if you would rather settle first, and credit cards are the one thing we cannot take. And something with your age on it, because we deliver to adults of 20 and over only and the rider may ask to see an ID card or passport before the order changes hands. If age cannot be established it goes back with him and nothing is charged. Keep it private afterwards, and do not drive.

Is there a minimum, and what does the ride cost?

฿350 minimum, mixed from as many strains as you like. The ride is ฿100 under ฿1,500 and nothing above it. For the furthest addresses round the loop we may ask you to reach more than ฿350 — tell us where you are and we will say straight away whether that applies to you.

How late can I order?

Ten in the morning through to midnight, seven days, and the last riders are still finishing their run at 1 AM. A midnight order still arrives; it just joins the busiest hour of the night. LINE and WhatsApp stay open the whole time.

Do you deliver anywhere else in Pattaya?

All of it. Weed delivery in Pattaya has the whole picture, or go straight to Huai Yai next door, Jomtien or Pratamnak. Past the Pattaya area it becomes a Flash Express parcel instead.

Every strain carries a photo, a price and a note on how it lands, so nothing is a guess by the time you order.
