Khon Kaen is one of the biggest cities in Isaan: the lake at Bueng Kaen Nakhon, the campus of Khon Kaen University, the malls and night markets, and the highways that fan out towards Udon, Korat and the west. Thai addresses vary a lot in how much they actually say, and that is what decides whether the handover is quick or slow. A moo baan name with a house number is plenty; a condo needs the building and the unit; a dorm needs the block and the room. Add a phone number the courier can ring, and if you are out during the day, say who can take the parcel in for you instead, whether that is reception, a guard or a neighbour.
